January 2nd, 2009*Update: 88 Keys has overtaken Black Milk on the top 10 new hip hop artists’ songs list. (It’s all a matter of taste though. Props to Black Milk nonetheless.)
This is my favourite post out of all of the nearly 2 years worth of posts we’ve published, hands down. I asked Graham to help me with the ‘Best Hip Hop from The South’ category and he did the whole thing by himself—and Oren did the same with the Electro category. Basically they had been holding out on me ’til I asked and I got to listen to a bunch of good music by putting this together. On behalf of everyone here at the LAF and all of our homies and affiliates, we thank you all for reading and thank the artists behind this music we enjoy for sharing it with the world.
