Here’s the new Kidz In The Hall single, ‘Drivin Down The Block’ that we mentioned in a previous post. At the time, there was only a teaser on youtube available, but they sent us the actual track recently, so scroll down and check it out.

Also, as we mentioned before, their album, ‘The In Crowd’ is dropping on Duck Down/Major League Records on April 29th. Produced entirely by Double-O, Naledge will be joined on it by The Clipse, The Cool Kids, Black Milk, Guilty Simpson, Travis of Gym Class Heroes, Camp Lo, Sean Price, Buckshot, Masta Ace, Wale, The Pack, Phonte (of Little Brother), and Skyzoo. An impressive line-up, to say the least. Anyone who’s down with hip hop and sees that list would probably agree, and I look forward to hearing the results.

Here’s some more “electronic hip hop” or whatever for you. Wiz Khalifa sampled Alice Deejay’s “better off alone” (1999) and apparently it turned out alright? Honestly, I haven’t even listened to it yet but someone whose music taste I trust put me up on it. Right click and save it below, you be the judge.

I’ve been meaning to post this for a little while now - it looks like I made a slight oversight when I did the original. I guess I realized this around christmas time when some friends and I were listening to the mix DJ Neoteric had done live at a friend’s birthday party. I was in attendance at the party but too faded to appreciate it at the time, but after we listened to it again I realized my mistake. Dude spins a mean set and his music taste is as eclectic as ours, so there’s something for everyone when it comes to his song selections. Don’t sleep, click on the downloads at the bottom.
