everything evolves.......deltron event II will be just as good if not better than 3030 in my opinion. it will be in a refined way, maybe even totally different, but it will be its own piece. 3030 is my FAVORITE ALBUM PERIOD. but if event II is the same or too similar to 3030 i would be dissapointed. it is said that the best emcees say the most in the fewest words. i think this is what is going for. thats how eleventh hour was for me. so that means he is freeing up space for more content and elaboration on the plot. Cant wait til it drops, Del is legendary, stay up

I agree with justin, the deltron sound is on a whole other level of music, and i would hate to see that sound be comprimised.. although 9 years later, its a different world, and im sure del has changed alot too so to want the exact same style as the last album couldnt be done. deltron 3030 is a masterpiece in many ways, and im sure whatever del has to offer on this new album will be nothing short of quality quality work... im excited for the release homie. stay up

I just finished reading the rest of the interview and I gotta comment again. I look at Deltron 3030 like a really great movie. "Cinematic" was how it was described and i couldn't agree more. A good movie has twists and turns throughout it. Certain parts of a movie they introduce characters or scenes and it's not until the end you figure out why their added. It's like the movie Pulp Fiction directed by Quentin Terintino or a movie directed by David Lynch. Its pure brilliance lies in its complexity and some people get it and some people don't but all recognize the originality of the artist. I am an artist too. A graphic artist. I run into the same stuff you do. Some people don't get it but some really do. But i am not going to compromise my talent to impress others. I like the originality of bridging the gap from music to cinema. As far as i know it hasn't been done before like Deltron 3030. Some people mix genres of music but what your doing is ground breaking. Dumbing
down Deltron Event II is a mistake. Deltron is it's own thing. It's not Del the FUnkee Homosapien and it's not Gorillaz, it's its own masterpiece. Don't change it, add onto it. If I wanted simplicity I would listen to Lil Jon. The same lyrics over and over. Yah that's strait to the point and retarded. It totally lacks creativity. We don't need another club mix or simple rap, we need intelligent awe inspiring music, especially in times like this where the economy is in the shitter, the environment is crumbling, and corporations have power over everything. Please do the right thing with Event II.

Del you are excellent. Don't dumb down Deltron Event II. You elevated hip-hop with Deltron 3030, you are original and inspiring. So many artists and famous people worldwide we're not recognized for their brilliance in their time, but today they live on as legends. Be a legend. Stick with your style and let it carry over under the Deltron name. Not all people will love all of your shit. But don't lower yourself because of what some people may have said. I thought it was mind blowing and i still listen to it on a monthly basis. It's the complexity of Deltron 3030 that keeps me listening to it, i want to understand more. I still am learning from it and hearing things I haven't heard before. I am making connections with the music that seem to co-inside with the reality of today. Don't change what was perfect. I heard about Deltron before I heard about Del the Funkee Homosapien. I was addicted to Deltron the first time I heard it and it some of the most original work i have
ever heard. Don't let the Deltron fans down. Be true to yourself. I cant wait to listen to Event II!
